I found this site, www.whatifsports.com and you can participate in a 24 team league against other football junkies. Each season costs $9 to play.
You pick players from any era for your QB/WR/RB/TE/Kicker/Punter and select an offense and a defense. Once you select your team, you set the depth charts, select your offensive playbook and defensive playbook and then the season starts. Games are simulated 1st half in the morning, 2nd half in the afternoon. You make changes to your playbooks, starters, during the halftime.
If you are interested, there is a free 4 game exhibition season that you can try and there is also a free game simulator where you can select pretty much any team vs. any team from any year and see who would win.
