Well it looks like we are experiencing the 0.3% downtime that DarkStar claims to happen with their service.
Here's what their support says (and guess what server we are on?) FYI - we left their Texas branch because of downtown. :icon_raving: :
Chicago Outage Notification
DarkStar is currently experiencing an outage related to our bandwidth provider www.steadfast.net (http://www.steadfast.net) in the Chicago area. We ask you to kindly understand that our bandwidth provider (Steadfast.Net) is currently experiencing a large network outage and that literally 75% or more of Ventrilo hosts (including us) are experiencing this issue.
We are working with the provider to get the issue resolved, but do not have a current ETA. We are hoping things will be back up and running in the next hour or so. We apoligize for any inconvenience caused and do ask for your understanding with this matter.
Steadfast.Net (our bandwidth provider) provides bandwidth to the majority of the gaming-related service providers out there (including Ventrilo and TeamSpeak hosts, Game Server providers, etc.). We are certainly not the only one affected by this issue.
We will update this page when our network in chicago is back up and running in full force. All other locations are operating normally. However, since we are unable to access client information until Chicago is back online we cannot move anyone at this time. We do not estimate the outage being too much longer.
