is just me or does this site take forever to load? i have cable for internet so im good there was just curious . i make it here but man i feel sometimes like im on dial-up.:icon_lalala:

I notice it at home using internet explorer 7 but not while at work using 6.0. I think it's due to the phishing filter with 7.0 that it takes so long to load.

It seems that way to me once in a while to, not all the time, just once in a while. I always figured some sort of maintenece was going down. I use Firefox though...none of that IE crap for me ( although i do kinda like 7).

I have to use IE at home, for some reason my firefox spotted working correctly with the site. I also turned off the phishing since I only use IE for GF.

It takes a little bit to load for me as well, never understood why. The 64-bit IE loads it pretty quick though.

Well it's about time someone said something. I figured it was just my connection with all the crap I do on the side. I will look at this tomorrow since I have to be going to work now. There is a couple mods that generate some database queries that slow things down. They are not suppose to slow the board down that much since we are a small board but I think they are. I'll post when I get this done and see if anyone notices anything after.

aah yes, its been very slow to me too. I'm using Ie7 at work but at home its a bit faster with firefox.

K going to turn off a few queries and see if that works. If not then I'll turn some others off. Feedback on performance over the next few days will help.
