This month's February Battlefield newsletter was released yesterday.

The topics of the month are the new official 1.6 patch, new 0.7 Desert Combat mod update & several other new mods. In addition there was several inactive members that became active again. Tell me what you thought or let me know of anything to add to the next newsletter in the forum post here. If you didn't receive the notice via email please email the webmaster@marduke.net and we will figure out why you didn't get the notice.

Ambassador Marvel found another game tracking site: bf1942.gametrack.org.

The new tracking links have been added to the members at the left.  Between the three of the tracking system all the servers should be covered and that means all the games we play should show up.

Marvel has volunteered to be our battlefield ambassador. What does a Battlefield Ambassador do? The ambassador represents Marduke in the battlefield community. He will participate in several forums in the battlefield community. In the past, being apart of other game specific communities has helped open the door to clan game, voice and image servers.

Marvel has already added Marduke.net to clanranking.com, found the code for a battlefield tracker forum signature, found a new and another game tracker site. Stay tuned to see more stuff from his various exploits.

Our battlefield newsletter has a new look. I hope everyone digs it. I figured that since we have a large active bunch we needed a separate newsletter in addition to the monthly Marduke newsletter. So if you didn't receive the notice via email please email the webmaster@marduke.net and we will figure out why you didn't get the notice. Nathan talked his brother into joining us and now we have two diehard battlefield players on our team. Philly even setup our very own Marduke Team Speak server. You can access that server via IP: mcserver.us. Thanks Philly! As was the case with DeViL, I'm a little late announcing this...Philly joined on January 16. Zimmer landed a good recruit when he invited DeViL to join Marduke. Great job Zimmer! I'm a little late announcing this...DeViL joined on January 6. Welcome bud!! DeViL even hosts a battlefield server for us. You can see the server information here.

Yeah I know this is the all things bf page. However, I still had to hit on the new "buzz" on Planet Marduke. Activision's Call of Duty that has taken the battlefield back to the solider. This fast paced game has brought the old MOHAA action back in the heart of Mardukes. So far the tally is Anyonethere (bf players all know him as Kamikaze), Bogart, Halo, Mits, Marvel, MasterChef, MythoLogy, Nightwings, Tank & a host of other comrades in Clan Ni. I don't plan on putting my beloved battlefield game on the shelf anytime soon but I wanted to pay homage to a new game on the rise in the land of Marduke.

December 28th was our BF1942 All-Nighter! Well the bodies did not turn out for it like I hoped. I was hoping that more of our 30 battlefield members would show up but we can always try another time. If you want to see what you missed visit our post here and see some screenshots.

Maybe a new year's resolution for many of our members is to get into a game at least once in 2004. Thanks to Aryana, Bogart, Dark_Jedi, Mits, Nathan, Zimmer for joining me in our All-Nighter Event.

On another note: I disabled the snow effect and won't get it out again until next December. So if you missed it...you need to check this page out more.

I personally feel that new members are a valuable asset to our divisions survival and decided we need to all recognize the ones that have either been with the clan & transferred from another division or just joined the clan.

On that note we forgot to mention when Zimmer joined us. Hero brought the talented emoticon designer (click here to follow that tangent) in from the outside.

Many might have not known that Zimmer played alongside us when we were with the old regime. He played in the battle.net division.

Goodness we forgot our own anniversary! We are about a month behind. Our anniversary started the first of November. Since December has rolled around the battlefield division is now officially 1 year 1 month old. A lot has happened since we first started. What's your new bf1942 bio? It is my honor as Emperor to promote & congratulate Magician & Vicks in their new roles as leaders of the Battlefield division. Please join me in congratulating them here.

The two generals will be meeting soon with me to discuss their game plan & the new purpose of Marduke's bf1942 division. We will update everyone a week from today.

Many thanks to Tank for all his work on our last bf1942 page. Hopefully the new page will help continue to unite Marduke members & friends the way Tank's did.

Our journey to Marduke.net has awaken our membership & game night. Game night and Marduke membership fell apart after losing our Marduke Team Speak server supported by bf42.com back in July.  However we have recovered thanks to Clan-Ni, whom has allowed us to be apart of the Team Speak server they host. Plus we have valued playing with their elite players nightly. You can visit Clan-Ni here.

Myth has met with Vicks and Magician, due to some important factors outside the clan both of our top leaders will be M.I.A. for awhile.  Stay tuned to their return.  In the meantime Myth has stepped into a temporary Daimyo role of the division and all important decisions will be handled by him and the Imperial Court in Magician's and Vicks absence.
