Inquiring minds want to know
The FAQ about The Watchmen.

Who are these masked men who do not claim glory and are well known by the phrase, "We are not classic heroes, we are the other guys"? Read on as you are about to find out.
Q: Who are The Watchmen.?
A: A guild formed while playing the Massive Multiplayer Online Real-time Player Game (MMORPG) City of Heroes on the Champion Server in April 2005 after some of the original members became unhappy with their previous supergroup, The Red Lightning Force.
Q: What is the reason behind the guild name?
A: The name was stolen from the famous graphic novel by Alan Moore. Q: Who was the founders of this guild?
A: The original members were Opsteel, Halflife, Constance, Web Gear, Isometric and El Chupanebrae.
Q: All superhero groups live by a code or purpose, what is this group's?
A: The foundation for The Watchmen code is as follows:
Declaration: To weave our own stories and experiences into the ongoing narrative of Paragon City, playing for ourselves and others as symbols of the 5 pilliars of The Watchmen Code; Unity, Comraderie, Leadership, Stewardship, and Funmanship.
Unity: No Watchman stands, or falls, alone. There are no superstars within The Watchmen, and all team members are expected to display strong teamwork skills. There are no closed doors in this team, and all meetings and events will be open to any active member who wishes to attend.
Comraderie: All Watchmen are expected to contribute to the administration and enjoyment of the team. This includes participating both in-game and here on The Watchmen's website. All Watchmen should endeavor to sponsor events on a regular basis. A sponsored event need not be mission or xp related. Whatever you think would be fun, your fellow Watchmen would probably also enjoy.
Leadership: No Watchmen should be a stranger to the mantle of leadership. During sponsored events there will be a designated Team Leader. This will usually, but not always, be the event's sponsor. This is the person who calls the shots, and it is imperative that all team members support the Team Leader's efforts and initiatives.
Stewardship: All Watchmen are ambassadors of the team. Watchmen should always embody the ideal of fair play. This means that no kill-stealing, griefing, etc. will be tolerated. Watchmen who witness team members who display such behaviors are encouraged to contact an Elite Agent. Stewardship also includes the recruitment of quality players and the spreading of The Watchmen's good name throughout Paragon City.
Funmanship: The central spire to the pillars is to have fun! There will be hard times, just as there will be good times. It is important for all Watchmen to remember that this is a game, and we reserve the right to have fun, banter relentlessly, make up words like funmanship, and occasionally behave like five-year-olds.
The Hangmen villain group was created for the expansion to COH called City of Villains after Fluffy Bunnies was taken.
The Hot Hero Babes were created as an alternate SuperGroup of heroes located on Victory server; the girls gathered every Wednesday, see their home and more links below:

Watchmen Quotes - xx
Adrian Veidt: I did the right thing, didn't I? It all worked out in the end.
Dr. Manhattan: 'In the end'? Nothing ends, Adrian. Nothing ever ends.
Adrian Veidt: 'Do it?' Dan, I'm not a Republic serial villain. Do you seriously think I'd explain my master-stroke if there remained the slightest chance of you affecting its outcome? I did it thirty-five minutes ago.
Rorschach: Give me smallest finger on man's hand. I'll produce information. Computer unnecessary.
